Midfielder Mesut Ozil has decided to retire from football. Ozil has announced on his social media account that he has decided to retire from football from now on . The German has thanked the clubs he has played for in the past: Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Fenerbahce and Basaksehir.
The midfielder also thanked the coaches, teammates and especially the fans who always gave encouragement from the beginning. Come on. Ozil, 34, has a 17-year career as a midfielder, playing a total of 426 games and scoring 73 goals and assist 133 times.
