Manchester United have no plan to sign Karim Benzema, according to talkSPORT.
United have been linked with the French striker as Erik ten Hag looks to improve his attacking options.
Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund have struggled, while Anthony Martial has failed to find form or fitness. United are exploring the loan market this month.
However, the report adds that United don't believe Benzema is a viable option moving forward, considering his age and wages of £86m-a-season.
Benzema joined Al-Ittihad in the summer on a free transfer from Real Madrid. He was made captain of the team given he was the club’s premier player and their most expensive one as well.
Fifteen goals in twenty-four appearances constitutes a reasonable return in an Al-Ittihad shirt this season but reports have revealed that the 36-year-old is unsettled in his new home.
