Chelsea will have to pay 40 million in taxes if they meet the terms of Benfica star Enzo Fernandez's contract termination, according to TyC journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.
This, together with the 120million release clause of the player, can transfer the package up to 160million. According to Merlo, Fernandez is likely to stay with Benfica and be able to move to Chelsea only if a miracle happens.
He said:
"If Chelsea had to pay Enzo's release clause - the termination clause plus taxes would total លាន 160 million. I find it almost impossible for Chelsea to pay off the contract. "Enzo will stay at Benfica for the rest of the season unless a miracle happens."
