Brighton have confirmed the signing of midfielder Josh Robertson from Sunderland on an undisclosed condition. The 18-year-old has joined the Seagulls on a three-and-a-half year deal.
We are delighted to welcome Josh to the club and look forward to working with him said Under-21 coach Shannon Ruth.
He is well educated with Sunderland being rewarded with his first appearance in Premier League 2 earlier this season.
Josh became part of the Black Cats family when he was 9 years old. He did his work in school playing for the Under-18 team. He made his Premier League 2 debut in Sunderland's 3-2 win over Aston Villa in September.
