Ferland Mendy has made the final decision not to leave Real Madrid until the end of his contract in 2025 according to Marca.
The French defender is happy at Real Madrid and has full confidence in Carlo Ancelotti. He sees him as his first-choice left-back.
Real Madrid are still questioning Bayern Munich Alphonso Davies but Mendy has not been threatened by his arrival.
However Real Madrid have made no attempt to extend Mendy contract with the player who entered the final year of his current contract. It means the club may be willing to let him leave.
Reports say Mendy received a market price for Los Blancos and they are willing to sell him if they get a good offer. However that may not happen until this summer as Ancelotti highly values the 28-year-old.
Ancelotti has named the Real Madrid defender the best player in the world not Carvajal.
Mendy has been sidelined with an injury this season but has made 18 appearances. He scored his first goal of the season in a Super Cup win over Atletico Madrid.
