Mason Greenwood is close to an exciting move to Barcelona this summer according to The Sun.

Barca have reportedly been following Greenwood since the start of the season and are said to be keen on what they have seen so far.

Greenwood meanwhile has told team-mates a move to Barcelona would be a dream move if it happens.

Barcelona want to sign Greenwood and he wants to move there. The next step is for the clubs to sign a deal a source told The Sun.

Manchester United meanwhile have agreed to sell Greenwood at the end of the season after a rape scandal forced him to miss 18 months due to suspension and investigation.

However Greenwood was cleared when the victim dropped all charges against the winger in February last year. It will take another six months for Greenwood to find a club with La Liga clubs.

The 22 year-old has played in Spain scoring five goals and assists four times in 19 games and has become a key player at Getafe.

Greenwood is currently worth 7.5 million on the Transfermarkt but he will have to pay more if he continues to do well until the end of the season.
