Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Takehiro Tomiyasu has been ruled out.
Speaking after the 4-3 win in Luton Town he said We have scanned Takehiro Tomiyasu and it is not good news for We are not.
He has a calf injury and will be out for a while.
Tomiyasu has been impressive in recent weeks but missed the Gunners massive victory over Luton with a calf problem he raised last weekend against the Wolves.
It is unlikely that the Japanese will make another appearance this year.
