According to The Athletic Getafe will begin talks with Manchester United over a permanent deal for Mason Greenwood if he continues his impressive form.
While there are some concerns that he may not reach his full potential as at Old Trafford Getafe hopes to see him continue to play well.
He scored four goals and three assists for the club throughout the tournament starting with his loan spell on a solid record.
Getafe is willing to wait until April before making a final decision on Greenwood future.
However The Athletic notes that it is unlikely Mason will play for Man United again no matter how well he does at Getafe.
