Jadon Sancho is yet to apologise to Erik ten Hag after publicly challenging the reasons he was dropped ahead of the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sept. 3.
ESPN claims that Ten Hag has asked the 23-year-old to apologise in private and with a public statement but he has been reluctant to do so.
It is also being claimed that the Dutchman has not completely closed the door on the possibility that Sancho could be reintegrated into the squad.
The winger is currently on an individual training programme at Carrington training base and has been spotted twice watching the Under-18s.
The Red Devils face Sheffield United on October 21 after the international break.
