According to The Sun, Arsenal are strongly pursuing an interest in signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City in the January transfer window.
Since moving to the Etihad for £45 million last summer, Phillips has struggled for game time.
The Gunners have signed Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus from Man City, eventually challenging for the Premier League title last season.
It remains to be seen if they are willing to let Phillips join Arsenal when we could once again challenge them for the trophy.
The English midfielder, 27, has played five times across competitions for Man City so far this season.
