Man United defender Lisandro Martinez is going to undergo a second surgery on the broken metatarsal, as per the Daily Mail.
This injury, which he suffered against Sevilla back in April, has been holding him back for the start of this campaign.
Martinez has opted to undergo surgery, which is expected to take place next week.
He is now expected to miss the entirety of 2023 because of the recovery period from surgery and be out for the next two to three months.
That means Man United could be without their star defender for the rest of the year, dealing another blow to what has been a poor start to the season.
