The Glazers family is set to take Man United off the market, the Daily Mail reports.
The owners of the club have decided to hold on selling the club until 2025. They are unhappy with the bids they received, from Sheikh Jassim and Sir James Ratcliff, and think they could fetch a higher price in 2025.
They expect to sell the club for between £7bn and £10bn in two years due to financial and sporting factors.
The Glazers believe that more TV revenues, the change in the Club World Cup format and the 2026 World Cup will increase the price they could sell the club for. They also believe that Erik ten Hag will bring on-the-pitch success to the club, helping them get a bigger fee.
The source says that the thick-skinned Glazers won't be influenced by any negative fan reactions despite Man United fans protesting against their ownership.
