Man United are closing in on the signing of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana as their new no.1.
As per the Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Red Devils are set to make a new bid of over €50m to get the deal over the line.
If everything goes according to plan, they could announce the Cameroonian goalkeeper as their second summer signing early next week on Tuesday (11 July) or Wednesday (12 July).
Onana has also started house-hunting in Manchester after having agreed personal terms with the club.
Man United reportedly want the Cameroon keeper to be part of their squad that departs for the USA pre-season tour next week.
Onana’s arrival could effectively end David de Gea’s tenure as the Red Devils’ no.1 after he became a free agent.
