Tottenham have officially announced Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach. He will start working on 1 July on a four-year contract.
The 57-year-old joins from Celtic whom he's just led to a domestic treble and, in total, five trophies in two years at the club. He is the first Australian to manage in the Premier League.
Chairman Daniel Levy wrote: "Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club.
We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.
Prior to Scotland, Postecoglou worked in Australia and Japan. A few days ago, this choice didn't seem to inspire many Spurs fans but they now seem to be more excited, especially after Celtic fans have spammed social media with rave reviews on their now ex-head coach.
