Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has silenced speculators about not making any substitutions during the game against RB Leipzig.
City travel to the Red Bull Arena in Germany for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie on Wednesday 23 February. Although the game ended in a 1-1 draw in the 70th minute, Guardiola did not use any substitutes as the standings remained the same full time.
After the match, the Spaniard was asked why he did not change substitutes. He responded via CityXtra on Twitter:
"It does not mean that if I can change five people, I have to change five people. I'm a good manager who knows what I have to do or not. "Maybe in the second leg I will decide to go crazy and play with nine strikers."
