Malaysia has received local broadcasting rights for the SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games to be held in Cambodia this year .
Datuk Seri Megat D Shahriman, President of the Paralympic Council of Malaysia, said the rights were granted by the Cambodian SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC).
He said the president of the Paralympic Council of Malaysia would sell exclusive broadcasting rights to major media outlets in the country, including television rights (free and paid TV), online and new media rights (IPTV). & OTT) as well as secondary media rights (including voice broadcast rights).
A total of 37 sports, including promotional sports, will be held at the 32nd SEA Games from 5 to 17 May, while the 12th ASEAN Para Games will be held from 3 to 9 May. June, which will have 13 sports. Both sporting events in Phnom Penh will feature competitions from 10 ASEAN countries and East Timor will be held in Phnom Penh.
