RB Leipzig are working on signing 21-year-old left-back Max Finkgrafe from FC Koln according to Florian Plettenberg. The player is reportedly open to a move with the two clubs already in contact to discuss terms.
Finkgrafe is one of three candidates Leipzig are considering to strengthen their left-back position. Hoffenheim had also expressed interest in the defender who made 16 appearances last season during Koln promotion campaign.
Koln could be willing to sell as Finkgrafe has lost his regular starting place and a transfer would help finance new signings. His contract runs until summer 2026.
If completed the deal would add a young and versatile option to Leipzig squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
