Francesco Farioli is close to being appointed as FC Porto new head coach according to Record. The 36-year-old Italian is expected to sign a contract running until 2027 though there has been no official confirmation from the club at this stage.
Farioli is currently a free agent after leaving Ajax just one season into a three-year deal. The Dutch side had previously paid €1.25m to acquire him from Nice in 2024.
