According to DAZN Real Madrid are hopeful that Eder Militao will be available to play a role in their squad if they reach the Round of 16 at the Club World Cup.
Militao has been sidelined for eight months since suffering an ACL injury back in November.
However the Brazilian defender has made significant progress in his recovery and has now returned to light training with the team.
Militao was a regular starter for Real Madrid before his injury but his absence has opened the door for players like Raul Asencio to step up and become key members of the first team.
