Juventus are reportedly preparing a bid for Ronald Araujo according to David Bernabeu of Diario Sport as they revisit the defender situation.
The Italian club is planning an offer in the range of €25 million to €30 million for the Uruguayan center-back.
New Juventus manager Igor Tudor is said to be a strong admirer of Araujo viewing him as a key figure who could significantly strengthen the team defense.
Although Araujo signed a new contract with Barcelona in January he has remained a backup option under new coach Hansi Flick with Pau Cubarsí and Iñigo Martínez preferred in the starting lineup.
The 26-year-old defender has expressed his commitment to Barcelona and is believed to want to stay. However the club may be forced to consider a sale due to financial needs and wage space especially if they hope to sign players like Nico Williams.
