According to Diario AS Atletico Madrid are planning to sell Rodrigo De Paul during the upcoming summer transfer window to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
De Paul contract with Atleti runs until 2026 but there appears to be no progress or agreement on a possible extension. That means he could leave for free in the summer of 2026 if not sold beforehand.
The Argentine midfielder has been a regular under Diego Simeone since joining from Udinese for €35 million.
Now 31 years old De Paul featured in 53 matches for Atletico this season scoring 3 goals and providing 10 assists.
