Fenerbahce is actively working to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season by targeting Jonathan David the Canadian forward whose contract with Lille has expired making him a free agent.
According to Haber Global TV the Turkish club has presented a verbal offer worth €55m over three years covering agent fees signing bonus and salary.
This offer signals Fenerbahce strong interest in securing the 25-year-old striker.
However Jonathan David is taking a cautious approach considering other European offers before making a decision. Last season David featured in 49 matches for Lille across all competitions scoring 25 goals and assisting 12 times.
