Chelsea pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens has hit a roadblock with the German club demanding €65m including bonuses for the 20-year-old transfer.
The Blues had previously made offers of £30m and £42m but Dortmund are looking for a higher package to sell the player.
Despite the high asking price Gittens has already agreed to a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge and is waiting for the clubs to agree on a fee.
Chelsea are prioritizing a move for Gittens but it remains unclear whether an agreement can be reached with Dortmund.
The Blues are also exploring other options including Lyon Malick Fofana who is one of the names on their shortlist.
However Gittens remains the top target and Chelsea are hoping to finalize the deal soon. The negotiations between the two clubs will determine whether Gittens can join Enzo Maresca side this summer.
