According to The Athletic Liam Delap has reached an agreement with Chelsea on the personal terms of his contract.

The Ipswich Town striker will sign a six-year deal with the Blues subject to completing his medical checks.

Chelsea have already agreed to trigger a £30m release clause after Delap expressed his preference to join them over other clubs including Man United.

Earlier Fabrizio Romano reported that Delap has already completed the first part of his medical. It is expected to be completed on Monday.
