Juventus have appointed Damien Comolli as its new General Manager effective June 4.
The French executive brings over 30 years of experience in European football having held key roles at clubs such as Arsenal with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool and Fenerbahce most recently Toulouse. At Toulouse Comolli led the club to promotion to Ligue 1 and victory in the Coupe de France demonstrating his capability in both sporting and strategic management.
In his new role at Juventus Comolli will oversee the Men Football Area as well as the Marketing and Commercial Departments. He will report directly to CEO Maurizio Scanavino. The appointment is part of a broader restructuring of Juventus management with former sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli departing after two seasons in Turin.
Comolli tenure at Juventus is expected to be a pivotal period for the club as it aims to strengthen its position in both domestic and international competitions. His extensive background in football operations and data-driven decision-making is anticipated to influence Juventus future strategies and successes.
