Jeremie Frimpong has been confirmed as the new Liverpool player.
Frimpong has been brought in as the direct replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold who has officially completed his transfer to Real Madrid.
The Netherlands international signed a long-term contract with the Reds on Friday at the AXA Training Centre having successfully completed his medical.
Individually the 24-year-old standout performances earned him a place in the Bundesliga Team of the Season in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.
Born in Amsterdam Frimpong began his football journey in Manchester City youth academy before making a move to Celtic in 2019. During his time in Scotland he won three major trophies before transferring to Leverkusen.
On the international stage Frimpong made his senior debut for the Netherlands in October 2023 and has since earned 12 caps and scored one goal for his country.
