Arsenal are making a major push to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres a player they closely tracked throughout the 2024-25 season.
According to Portuguese news outlet Correio da Manha cited by Goal key Arsenal directors traveled to Lisbon last weekend where they attended Arsenal Women Champions League final win before meeting with Gyokeres agent Hasan Cetinkaya.
The Gunners have now tabled an offer of €70 million plus performance-based add-ons.
If the deal goes through Gyokeres will receive a €12 million signing bonus and earn €7 million annually. The proposal is now with Sporting president Frederico Varandas.
