Sport BILD reports that Bayern Munich are advancing their efforts to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen with the club preparing a €100m offer for the midfielder.
The news of an agreement between Wirtz and Bayern took Bayer Leverkusen by surprise but Bayern management including president Herbert Hainer have not denied the reports.
While Hainer did not comment on the details of the negotiations he praised Wirtz stating Florian Wirtz is an exceptional player. Bayern are looking to push through the transfer this summer aware that Wirtz market value will decrease next year when he enters the final year of his contract.
