Fichajes reports that Marco Asensio could be set for a move to Serie A this summer with Inter Milan showing serious interest in the Spanish international. The attacking midfielder currently on loan at Aston Villa from Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly not in the French club plans for next season.
Inter see Asensio as an ideal fit for Simone Inzaghi system. With his creativity vision and knack for arriving in the box at the right time the former Real Madrid player is viewed as a strong option to bolster the Nerazzurri attacking line. According to reports PSG would be open to accepting an offer in the region of €20m.
Asensio has impressed during his spell in the Premier League gaining the playing time and prominence he struggled to find in Paris. His form has drawn attention across Europe but Inter are said to be among the most convinced by his profile.
A move to Milan could offer Asensio the consistency and competitive platform he seeks with Inter competing for titles domestically and in the Champions League. Talks are expected to accelerate once the summer transfer window opens with all parties seemingly aligned on a potential deal.
