Manchester United have emerged as serious contenders to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah this summer according to Sky Sports.
Jonathan Tah the 29-year-old Germany international who has played over 50 games this season for club and country is set to leave Leverkusen when his contract expires at the end of June. Tah confirmed his departure after the club 1-1 draw with FC St. Pauli on April 20 although he did not disclose when a final decision on his next move would be made.
Several top European clubs including Bayern Munich Real Madrid and Barcelona are also monitoring Tah situation. With United looking to strengthen their defensive line and bounce back in the Premier League next season the experienced centre-back has become a target.
Tah a long-serving figure at Leverkusen is expected to leave as a free agent making him a highly sought-after option in the upcoming transfer window.
