In a surprising move English centre-back Eric Dier is poised to leave Bayern Munich for AS Monaco.
According to reports the deal has been finalized with Dier agreeing to a contract valid until June 2027 plus an option to extend.
The 31-year-old has been a valuable asset to Bayern stepping up in the absence of key defenders and showcasing his experience and reliability.
Despite his impressive performances which have caught the eye of the club hierarchy Dier departure seems imminent.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl recently praised Dier contributions saying Eric has been immense since Dayot's injury. He shown his experience and reliability.
However with his current deal set to expire in June 2025 Dier exit appears to be a done deal paving the way for his new chapter at AS Monaco.
