SPORT reports that Hansi Flick and Deco have identified two key positions for Barcelona upcoming transfer plans a striker and a goalkeeper.
While Robert Lewandowski and Wojciech Szczesny will cover these roles for next season with their contract extensions neither is expected to remain at the club beyond 2027. Flick is satisfied with Ferran Torres filling in as a temporary striker but believes the team needs a more established long-term solution.
In goal Marc-Andre ter Stegen future is uncertain beyond his current contract and Inaki Pena prospects have dimmed after a lack of playing time this season. The club is keen on securing a top-class goalkeeper to take over when Ter Stegen time at Barcelona comes to an end.
Both positions are viewed as vital for strengthening the squad with Flick and Deco looking to make significant investments in these areas to ensure the club continued success at the highest level.
