Arsenal Mikel Merino has been named the men Player of the Month for March. The Spanish midfielder who has been playing in a striker role due to Kai Havertz injury earned 39% of the vote from supporters securing the top spot for the month.
Merino scored the winning goal against Chelsea with a header. He has now scored six goals for the season surpassing his previous career best of five goals in the league.
Merino also netted for Spain in their Nations League quarter-final against the Netherlands helping them advance to the semifinals.
Declan Rice finished in second place while Ethan Nwaneri the winner in February came third.
