According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg Bayer Leverkusen are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping position during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The club is seriously considering a move for Brentford Mark Flekken. Initial talks between the two clubs have already taken place and the potential transfer fee is reported to be around €15 million.
The 31-year-old Dutch international is one of three options Bayer are evaluating. Flekken himself is said to be open to a step forward in his career this summer.
Brentford signed Mark Flekken in summer 2023 from Freiburg for €13 million. This season he has conceded 49 goals in 32 matches and kept 5 clean sheets.
