Jose Mourinho is reportedly under consideration to become the next coach of the Brazil national team.
According to Globo the CBF is evaluating four foreign managers for the role with Mourinho now included in the list alongside Jorge Jesus with Abel Ferreira and Carlo Ancelotti.
While Jorge Jesus is seen as the most likely candidate due to his availability Mourinho name has recently emerged as a potential choice signaling that the CBF is looking for a high-profile coach with vast experience. Mourinho is currently managing Fenerbahce in Turkey which is not competing in the Club World Cup unlike Jesus and Abel Ferreira whose teams will participate.
The Brazil national team has been searching for a new head coach after parting ways with Dorival Junior following a disappointing 4-1 loss to Argentina. With the upcoming qualifiers in June against Ecuador and Paraguay the CBF might need to appoint an interim manager if they can't secure one of the top candidates like Mourinho in time.
