Bayern Munich Max Eberl could extend Leroy Sane contract without needing supervisory board approval according to Bild.
Sane who has scored nine goals this season has been key for Bayern but his contract expires in the summer. Despite some reluctance from the Bayern hierarchy who question his consistency over the past five years Eberl could secure an extension without needing the usual approval for deals over €25m as the threshold has been raised to €50m.
A possible three-year deal is on the table with Sane reportedly willing to forgo part of his salary to remain at the club.
Sane has been linked with moves to both Arsenal and Tottenham and Eberl is expected to act quickly to secure his future at Bayern.
