According to SPORT BILD Eintracht Frankfurt are aiming for at least €60m for Kaua Santos in the future recognizing his significant potential.
Despite being a fourth-choice goalkeeper when he was signed from Flamengo in summer 2023 for just €1.6m Santos has quickly proven himself. After stepping in for the injured Kevin Trapp his performances including a standout display in the 3-1 win against Bochum have impressed both Frankfurt and Brazilian officials who see him as a future national team player.
Santos is only just beginning to tap into his potential with the club estimating he only used 50-60% of it. His remarkable development has caught the eye of major European clubs though Santos remains committed to Frankfurt having signed a contract extension until 2030.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is known for his quick reactions strong positioning and leadership skills earning him the nickname Billig-Flieger due to his initial low-cost move. Santos is already being compared to legendary Brazilian goalkeepers such as Dida with Alisson and Ederson with Frankfurt now seeing him as a future star.
