Borussia Dortmund might part ways with Yan Couto after just one season. The Brazilian loaned from Manchester City last summer has featured in 25 competitive matches but has averaged only 37 minutes per game. Behind Julian Ryerson he usually second choice at right-back.
Despite Borussia Dortmund having already paid a £4 million loan fee and being obliged to fork out over £20 million to City in the summer his future at the club remains up in the air. The club would be willing to let the 21-year-old go if a suitable offer comes in.
FC Girona where Couto impressed during a previous loan spell are particularly keen. Another loan with an option to buy could suit both parties though it carries risks for Dortmund.
