Arsenal young star Ethan Nwaneri has been named the club Player of the Month for February after receiving the most votes from supporters. The 17-year-old exceptional performances have seen him become an integral part of the team in what has been a breakout season.
Nwaneri secured 54% of the votes to claim the award beating out stiff competition from teammates Gabriel Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber.
The month started with a memorable moment for the young talent as he sealed Arsenal 5-1 victory over Manchester City with a goal.
His fine form continued in the Premier League as Nwaneri notched his first assist in just his fourth league start.
Nwaneri added to his growing tally with a goal against PSV bringing his season total to eight goals. Remarkably only Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney have scored more goals for Premier League clubs before turning 18.
