Manchester United have reopened negotiations over a new contract for midfield starlet Kobbie Mainoo with the club eager to secure his long-term future at Old Trafford according to Daily Mail.
Mainoo the 19-year-old who has been sidelined for a month with a calf injury still has over two years remaining on his current deal. However his representatives are reportedly seeking improved terms including a salary increase to £180.000 per week plus bonuses.
United remain optimistic about reaching a compromise and convincing the talented midfielder that his future lies with the club.
