Bayer Leverkusen are eyeing a change in their goalkeeping ranks. Matej Kovar has been given chances this season ahead of captain Lukas Hradecky but the Czech mainly used in cup competitions hasn't fully convinced. Coach Xabi Alonso will decide if Kovar becomes their number one next season or gets sold.
The club are also scouting external options. Mundo Deportivo reports that Espanyol Barcelona Joan Garcia a regular in La Liga with 25 appearances this season is a target.
Arsenal and Barcelona have also shown interest with the Gunners offering €20million last year though Espanyol held firm at his €30million release clause.
If Bayer are willing to pay that sum Alonso could soon welcome another Spaniard to their squad.
