Marcus Rashford move from Manchester United to Aston Villa could see his income drop by approximately £1.5 million reports the Daily Express.
Although Villa will cover more than 70% of Rashford £315.000 weekly wage during his six-month loan the striker earnings from his lucrative Nike deal are set to take a significant hit.
When Rashford signed his seven-year partnership with Nike in 2021 he was with a Category A club Man United.
Now at Villa a lower-tier club in Nike classification Rashford could see his earnings from the brand potentially reducing to around £50.000.
Additionally Nike may further reduce his pay or reclaim parts of his signing-on fee due to his reduced playing time and fewer international appearances.
