According to Sky Sports Brighton are close to completing the signing of Derby County centre-back Eiran Cashin.
The 23-year-old has been a key transfer target for the Seagulls who did not back down when their first bid was rejected.
Now Brighton and Derby have agreed a fee. Previously the Championship side were rumoured to be holding out for £10m as their asking price.
Cashin is a left-footed centre-back who has never played in the Premier League yet or represented his country at the senior level. He eligible to play for England but has featured for Ireland at the U23 level.
