Lazio are preparing a new formal bid to secure the permanent transfer of Cesare Casadei from Chelsea including a sell-on clause as part of the deal according to Fabrizio Romano.

Lazio face stiff competition from Torino Feyenoord and an unnamed Premier League side all of whom remain in contention for the highly-rated midfielder.

Chelsea have made it clear that they will only approve the transfer if their specific conditions are met adding further intrigue to the race for Casadei signature.
