Barcelona quest to sign a new striker has encountered another setback as Slovenian sensation Benjamin Sesko is reportedly favouring a move to Arsenal over the Catalan giants.
According to sources Sesko is expected to leave RB Leipzig in the summer and Barcelona had been keen on securing his services as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
However it appears that Sesko has his heart set on joining Arsenal which would be a significant blow to Barcelona striker search.
The Catalan club had previously missed out on their top target Erling Haaland who recently signed a contract extension with Manchester City until 2034.
Sesko preference for Arsenal is also bad news for other Premier League clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United who had been linked with the Slovenian striker.
Barcelona financial constraints and the challenges of competing with top European clubs for top talent make their striker search increasingly difficult.
