Diario Sport has reported that Barcelona plan to extend their manager Hansi Flick contract.
The report states that the Catalan club don't intend to discuss the extension during the season but have plans to address it before the start of the next campaign. The German manager current contract runs until 2026.
It is noted that even Barcelona didn't expect Flick to perform this well. The management consider him a key figure for the club future while Flick himself is happy with both the club and the city.
It reported that there shouldn't be any difficulties in the negotiations with Flick expected to receive a salary increase. When he signed his contract in 2024 he had to lower his salary to join the club.
