AS Monaco have sealed a deal to bring in left-back Valy Konate from Racing Club Abidjan.
Italian French and English clubs were keen but Monaco won the race for the player born on November 14 2006.
The club said In 2019 he caught the eye of the recruiters of the Racing Club of Abidjan during a detection and joined the Ivorian capital immediately.
He joined the first team two seasons later at just 15 years old after starting and performing with the Ivorian U17 selection.
During a match against Iraq he was even named captain.
