Barcelona have reportedly told Frenkie de Jong that they would be willing to sell him for an offer between €50 million and €60 million according to Fichajes.
The club sporting director Deco has confirmed that the midfielder could leave if a suitable bid arrives.
De Jong 27 has not managed to secure a regular starting spot under coach Hansi Flick. Despite being given chances his performances have not been convincing with a notable poor showing in the Copa del Rey match against Barbastro.
Barcelona are facing ongoing financial issues and De Jong high salary is adding to the pressure. The club hopes to move him on soon to ease their wage burden and avoid losing him for nothing when his contract expires in 2026.
