Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has emerged as the top contender for the Ballon d'Or 2025 according to Goal's Power Rankings.
The Egyptian superstar has been in scintillating form this season scoring 20 goals and providing 17 assists for the Reds.
Salah impressive performance has catapulted him to the top of the rankings ahead of other top contenders such as Vini Jr and Raphinha with Jamal Musiala and Robert Lewandowski.
The 31-year-old consistency and goal-scoring prowess have made him a strong candidate for the prestigious award.
This is not Salah first brush with individual honors. He finished third in the Best FIFA Men Player award in 2018 and 2021 and fifth in the 2019 Ballon d'Or. With his current form Salah will be looking to go one step further and claim the top prize in 2025.
