Juventus are eager to strengthen their backline in the upcoming January transfer window.
As per Gianluca di Marzio the Bianconeri recently made an offer to sign Benfica centre-back Antonio Silva on a loan plus option to make it permanent.
They offered around €5m for a six-month loan spell plus and option to buy him permanently in the summer for €30m.
However Benfica consider this to be inadequete and have urged the Italian side to come up with a better offer.
Silva has been in impressive form this season helping Benfica keep seven clean sheets in 13 appearances so far.
